SASMS vs Channel 4 Kickball Game was held on June 4th. 3rd - 5th grade students read 6, 861 books during the third nine weeks to win the Channel 4 Lowcountry's Promise reading contest! Students enjoyed ice cream and watched their teachers play kickball against Channel 4 News team. Charlie the Riverdog came out to play and cheer for both teams. The teachers lost by one run, but that's OK. Everyone had a great time!

Tip of the Day

Avoid bringing plastic to the beach this summer. Plastic debris in our waters is responsible for the death of more than a million seabirds, 100,000 mammals, and sea turtles annually. Plastic pieces are often found in the stomachs of dead ocean-going beasts. Instead of bottled drinks and disposable plates and cutlery, use a re-usable thermos; and pack in re-usable dishes, knives, forks, and spoons.

Congratulations to our fifth graders for graduating from St. Andrew's! We are SO proud of you!

Congratulations to all 5th grade students who won awards. We also would like to include Morgan Haynes to the list of 5th graders who had received the Presidency Award for Excellence! Congratulations!

No Book Left Unread Summer Reading Program

As students read over the summer, fill out a reading log. The top reader in each grade level will receive a $25 gift card from Barnes and Noble. The second place reader will receive two free books and the third place reader will receive one free book. The program runs from June 1st - August 31st. Download reading log.
